Venezuela and the adoption of Bitcoin
The adoption of cryptocurrencies is having a great growth in countries that are going through an economically unstable situation. Among them are Latin American countries such as Argentina and Venezuela.
One of the main problems that these countries have in relation to Blockchain technology is that they do not have the necessary infrastructure and internet services necessary to carry out an efficient implementation of crypto assets to the daily life of society. However, the Venezuelan Randy Brito has developed a new way to use the technology that allows Bitcoin transactions without internet.
Brito explains: "In Venezuela, the adoption of cryptocurrencies can be very complicated. People may even have trouble downloading a wallet due to lack of infrastructure." Brito's finding allows users to send and receive payments using the Bitcoin network without having to be connected to the internet.
Undoubtedly, this solution widens the adoption of cryptocurrencies by solving a major problem that punishes the citizens of those countries in which the economy and the current context contribute nothing.
