InCore bank has received authorization from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) to transact digital assets, allowing its clients to access and transact within the bank. With this announcement InCore Bank becomes the first bank in Switzerland to receive approval from the state body to operate within the sphere of cryptocurrencies and, at the same time, the authorization of FINMA represents an important step in creating an environment favorable for blockchain in the entire banking sector of the European Union.
InCore Bank announced the partnership with the independent IT consulting firm, Inacta AG, with the aim of providing information and management of crypto assets. Mark Dambacher, CEO of InCore Bank, commented: “Our clients benefit from a pull of expansion to the new asset class without having to invest in infrastructure and new processes on their own. And this while maintaining the usual security standards and how we build the bridge to traditional asset classes. "The local media have affirmed that InCore Bank is one of the best rated banks in the sector due to the constant updating of its systems.
The bank is planning to expand its blockchain strategy and include brokerage, custody and transfer services to value tokens in the coming months, according to statements by company executives.
